Join me for a workshop where we will tune into the energies of the Winter Solstice - sharing and exploring the dreams that emerge in the sacred dark and quiet.
The Winter Solstice has been celebrated by humans for thousands of years. In the Northern Hemisphere, as we approach the Winter Solstice, the darkness increases a little more each day until the Winter Solstice. Solstice means "sun stands still" and for our ancestors, this was a liminal time of waiting in the sacred darkness to see if the sun would return with a little more daylight each day. We are invited to tune into these energies and connect with the sacred dark as well as with the returning light.
In sacred space, we'll sit together in the quiet and darkness of this time. I'll share some Winter Solstice stories and music, and open the space for people to sit quietly, go within, and see what emerges from the Winter Solstice dark. This may take the form of thoughtful reflection, visions, journaling, poetry, motion, song, art, etc. We will then have the opportunity to share some of our Winter Solstice dreams with each other if we'd like. Sometimes synchronicities and patterns emerge when we create together in a sacred space.
